Production fase 2 - week 1
Hey everyone, in the next 3 weeks we will focus on ui, effects for major events and special abilities.
This week we started on ui, and made sure that the main mechanics worked and that the game is playable.
Gameplay:
The game is now playable, a cactus takes one of your lives and stuns you for a certain time.
The tree drops banana's when shaken, features will be added so the one player can pick up another player and throw him away
The mechanics of the knight ability work, and the ability's of the other characters will be added soon.
new animations:
The animations for the tree and the cactuses are now implemented, there are some new animations for the characters as well.
Programming:
The functionalety of the selection menu works fully. an environment and an ui on top still need to be implemented but that will be done in the comming weeks.
UI:
The ability cooldown icon for 3 out of 4 characters are done, they are going yo be greyed out end the color will shift from 0-100% in time for the ability to be recharched.
All the thumnails for the characters are already done.
every player will get a corner on the screen for its specific ui elements such as the score and the ability charger (as seen above).
To make it clear witch corner is for witch player, we will use a specific color and thumnail of the chosen monkey.
